Rose Cup Rules

Each Player must read, understand and agree to these Rules before participating in the Tournament.

The Tournament Admins reserve the right to update and change these Rules as needed. If changes occur during a Tournament, it will be announced appropriately.

Player Eligibility #

Registration: Each team must sign up in the discord server and on the Battlefy page. Every team can make use of 5 players and 3 subs, no additional emergency substitutes will be allowed.

Team Representative: A team captain/manager/coach must represent the team in their registration ticket, captain’s meeting, and in verification process. Allowing our staff to get the necessary information from one point of contact.

Anykey Verification: Each player or substitute registered for the team has to have an updated Anykey verification. Anykey certificates must be provided for each registered player in the discord registration ticket by the team’s representative.

Every player must be in the discord server or the team will be disqualified

Match Rules #

Map Bans/Map Pool – These are done through Battlefy chat between the two team captains, the map pool is the current Competitive map pool.

  • The winner of a coin flip is team A and the loser is team B
  • Best of 1 (BO1) map bans: Ban until last map, team A gets first ban and side pick.
  • Best of 3 (BO3) map bans: A ban, B ban, A pick, B Pick, A ban, B ban, Decider.

Server Selection – If both teams cannot agree on a server to choose, the server will default to the one in which both teams average ping is the closest.
Formula – (Team A Total Ping / 5) – (Team B Total Ping / 5) = Difference

Voice Calls – Teams can voice call wherever they so choose with only one restriction: Coaches can only talk during half-time, agent select and timeouts.

Streaming – Live streaming the event specifically from the coach slot or the player slot is permitted. A 2 minute delay is recommended but not required

Match Settings

      • Cheats: OFF
      • Tournament Mode: ON
      • Play out All Rounds: OFF
      • Overtime, Win by 2: ON

        Mid-match Pauses: #

        Timeouts – Each team is allowed two 60 second tactical timeouts per map. In overtime an additional 60 second timeout is granted.

        Tech Pauses – In the case of a technical malfunction or the temporary absence of a player, either team can take a single 10 minute tech pause. With the approval of both teams this can be extended by 10 minutes. Note: Crunch staff can grant an additional exception in specific cases

        Code Conduct #

        Competitive Integrity: Every team member is expected to uphold the competitive integrity of the event, giving each match of this event their all. Below are some examples of things that negatively effect the event’s integrity and are banned:

        • Match Fixing
        • Cheating
        • Ringing
        • Smurfing
        • Failure to comply with admin decisions

        Sportsmanship: All Teams and Team Members must observe the highest standards of personal integrity and good sportsmanship at all times. Team Members must behave in a professional and sportsmanlike manner in their interactions with their teammates, other competitors, and members of the Tournament Admins.

        This event exists as a place to build up others and the scene and we will not tolerate those who make this space unsafe.
